Hexagrama 37 – A Família

O oráculo

A Família. A perseverança da mulher é favorável.

Interpretação

Quando a família encontra sua organização apropriada, todas as relações sociais ficam em ordem. Se há verdadeiro empenho para manter a harmonia familiar, o mundo inteiro se harmoniza. Com essas imagens, o oráculo ressalta a importância de se trabalhar o núcleo fundamental de cada situação como o caminho natural para a construção de espaços mais amplos de trocas e convivência. A família é a célula inicial da sociedade.

O hexagrama indica ainda que o núcleo familiar depende da correta relação entre o homem e a mulher, para que a necessária firmeza e autoridade sejam sustentadas: o homem voltado para o exterior e a mulher voltada para o interior. E nesse espaço interior, o centro é mantido pela persistência e fidelidade da mulher. A figura feminina simboliza a suavidade, a receptividade e a humildade interior.

As relações dos pais e filhos entre si desenvolvem todas as virtudes necessárias à vida no plano social: o amor ao próximo, a lealdade ao amigo, a responsabilidade pelos encargos assumidos, a deferência aos superiores, a proteção aos mais fracos. O acolhimento das diferenças individuais e o cumprimento do dever próprio de cada um fazem florescer a solidariedade indispensável para que as sociedades encontrem harmonia e paz.

A palavra do homem nobre possui conteúdo e sua conduta é constante.

Interpretação

Para organizarmos uma família ou um grupo precisamos adquirir influência. E para exercermos alguma influência é necessário que nossas palavras tenham força e nossa conduta tenha peso. Uma influência, para ser eficaz, deve se apoiar no que é verdadeiro e persistente no interior, e as palavras precisam se restringir às circunstâncias objetivas. Discursos e advertências vagas não geram qualquer efeito apreciável.

Linha móvel (nove) na primeira posição significa:

Firme decisão dentro da família. 
O arrependimento desaparece.

A família deve formar uma unidade bem definida, dentro da qual cada membro conheça seu lugar. As crianças devem ser acostumadas desde cedo a normas firmes, antes que sua vontade se volte para outras direções. Se a ordem é imposta tardiamente, quando já se foi demasiado indulgente com a criança, tem-se de enfrentar a resistência dos caprichos e das paixões que se desenvolveram, havendo, portanto, motivo para arrependimento. Pois não há nada que possa ser mais facilmente evitado e que seja mais difícil de ser levado a cabo que “quebrar a vontade” de uma criança.

Ela não deve seguir seus caprichos. 
Deve cuidar dos alimentos no interior. 
A perseverança traz boa fortuna.

A mulher deve sempre seguir a vontade do dono da casa, seja o pai, o esposo ou o filho mais velho. O lugar dele é dentro de casa. Ali, sem que precise sair em busca de outras responsabilidades, tem grandes e importantes deveres. Ela deve cuidar da alimentação de seus familiares, assim como das oferendas para os rituais. Ela é a riqueza da casa. 
Grande boa fortuna.

O bem-estar da família depende da dona da casa. O bem-estar prevalece quando as despesas e a receita são proporcionais. Isso traz grande boa fortuna. Aplicada à esfera da vida pública, essa linha se referiria ao leal administrador, cujas iniciativas propiciam o bem-estar geral.

Linha móvel (nove) na quinta posição significa:

Como um rei ele se aproxima de sua família. 
Não tema. 
Boa fortuna.
